Any recommendations? We're lookin at front pads and rotors, nothing crazy. I want to replace what's there with some good/better quality parts but nothing crazy (ie drilled/slotted), its my DD and doesn't serve any track duty. What say you oppo?

I often go for OEM quality stuff, as the aftermarket could have some crappy parts.

See who makes the OEM stuff, 'cause it's not GM. Then, buy that brand for far less than what you could from the dealer.

Higher quality pads and stainless steel brake lines will make your brakes feel much better. Rotor upgrades aren't really necessary on a dd Cruze that doesn't see track duty.

When I did the brakes on our cobalt a while back, with OEM parts, the rotors warped within 10k, kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.

OEM, and try to respect your brakes a little more: you don't need to be continusly pushing that pedal, you know?

The cheap soft "ceramic" pads will let the rotors last longer. Metallic or semi-metallic eat the damn things up.

Back in the days of asbestos pads, rotors were pretty much lifetime parts.

I like the EBC's I installed this summer. So grippy.
